A permanent camp in the middle of the park

Mbuni Central Serengeti Camp stands at Nyarusigwa 5, 13 km from Seronera Airstrip, in the heart of the park.

Because the camp is open all year and sits at the centre of the park, it works in any month: a comfortable base for a few unhurried days on the plains, with a proper bed, a hot shower and good food waiting at the end of each one.

Each tent has its own bathroom with a hot shower and a private veranda: serene comfort to come back to after a day on the plains. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included, with drinking water, tea and coffee.

Where the camp is, and getting here

The camp is in Central Serengeti, the part of Serengeti National Park around Seronera. Routes between the Ngorongoro highlands and the northern Serengeti pass through this area, so the camp is easy to reach from either direction.

You can arrive by road with your safari guide, or fly in to Seronera Airstrip, 13 km from camp. Ask us about getting from the airstrip to camp.

The camp is at Nyarusigwa 5 in Central Serengeti, 13 km from Seronera Airstrip. Guests arrive with their safari guide by road or fly in to Seronera. Ask us about getting from the airstrip to camp.

Are the camps fenced, and how do you keep guests safe?

Yes. A guide who requests a private room pays the full guest rate. Guides are welcome to dine with guests at no extra cost, or with the camp team if they let us know before heading out for the day.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel a confirmed booking, the charges are: 90–60 days before arrival, 50% of the total rate; 60–30 days before arrival, 75% of the total rate; 29–15 days before arrival, 100% of the total rate. Deposits are non-refundable. The full terms are on our booking policies page.
