Deposits and payment

Deposit

A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. For group bookings of more than five rooms, Mbuni Tented Camps may request a higher deposit.

Balance

Full payment is due 30 days before arrival. Bookings made within 30 days of arrival must be paid in full immediately.

Unpaid bookings

Unpaid bookings are released automatically, and deposits are non-refundable.

Charges during your stay

Any additional expenses incurred during your stay must be paid in full before departure.

Returned cheques

Cheques returned by the bank incur a 5% returned cheque fee.

Cancellation

If you cancel a confirmed booking, the following charges apply.

Deposits are non-refundable, as set out under Deposits and payment.

Children

Single rooms

The single-room rate applies to the first two rooms on a booking. Any additional single rooms are charged at the double-room rate.

Safari guides

Safari guides who request a private room are charged the full guest rate.

Tour leaders

Tour leaders stay free when accompanying groups of 12 or more. For smaller groups, the tour leader is charged 50% of the regular guest rate.

Provisional bookings

Provisional bookings are subject to availability and to the discretion of Mbuni Tented Camps. Cancellation fees may apply, or be adjusted, in line with the cancellation policy above.

Mbuni Tented Camps reserves the right to cancel any booking that does not comply with these terms.

All payments must be made through the official bank details provided, with full payment at least 30 days before arrival.
